About the project

Information about the customer: tridon.com
Location: Canada, Canada West; head office — Edmonton, Alberta
Direction: telecommunications and technology solutions, wireless communication, security systems and communication infrastructure

Tridon Communications is a Canadian company specializing in integrated wired and wireless technology solutions for business, industry and the public sector.

The company works with enterprises in the fields of energy, oil and gas industry, construction, transport, utilities, public safety and public administration.

Tridon's separate line of work is Motorola Solutions' solutions for operational communication, team coordination, and employee security enhancement.

01

The purpose of the project

The main task was to develop separate landing pages for key Motorola Solutions products and technologies and to make complex technical solutions understandable to the potential customer.

The project required:

  • divide different Motorola solutions into separate directions;
  • create a clear structure for the B2B audience;
  • show not only the characteristics of the equipment, but also practical scenarios of its use;
  • present specific device models;
  • explain the advantages of cooperation with Tridon as a local partner;
  • provide a simple path from familiarizing yourself with the solution to requesting a commercial proposal;
  • prepare pages for further SEO promotion for individual commercial requests.

Instead of one large universal page, three independent landing pages were created, each of which is focused on a separate user need.

02

Three separate areas of Motorola Solutions

The project structure is built around three categories of solutions.

03

Motorola Two-Way Radios

The first landing page is dedicated Motorola two-way radios.

The main focus is on fast push-to-talk communication for teams working on production sites, construction, transportation, utilities, industry, oil and gas and public safety.

The page features various types of equipment, from compact portable walkie-talkies to mobile radios for vehicles and control systems.

Motorola MOTOTRBO models are shown separately, including the R2, R5, R7, XPR 5550e, XPR 7550 IS, and XPR 7580e IS.

Thanks to this structure, the user can not just look through the catalog of equipment, but understand which solution is suitable for his working conditions.

04

Motorola Body-Worn Devices

The second direction — Motorola chest cameras and wearable devices.

This page is aimed at organizations for which video recording of events, personnel safety, incident control and fast communication between employees are important.

The structure of the landing page presents:

  • Motorola V200;
  • Motorola VB400;
  • Motorola VT100;
  • Motorola TLK 25 Wi-Fi.

Each solution has a brief description and the ability to go to more detailed information or request an offer immediately.

An important part of the page was the explanation of the areas of use of body-worn technologies. They are relevant not only for the police or security structures, but also for enterprises, transport companies, communal services, facility teams and employees who regularly interact with customers or the public.

05

Motorola WAVE PTX

The third landing page is dedicated Motorola WAVE PTX is a broadband push-to-talk solution for teams working in different locations.

Unlike a traditional radio system, WAVE PTX allows push-to-talk communication over mobile networks and Wi-Fi.

This is especially true for companies with mobile crews, drivers, technicians, employees in different cities or at remote sites.

The page explains how the system can integrate different types of users and devices into a common communication environment.

06

Logic and structure of landing pages

All three landing pages have a common logic, but are adapted to a specific product.

The first screen immediately shows the main value of the solution and contains a CTA to request a commercial offer.

Next, the user gradually receives the necessary information:

  • a brief explanation of the technology;
  • key benefits;
  • typical usage scenarios;
  • specific equipment models;
  • advantages of cooperation with Tridon;
  • request form;
  • answers to frequently asked questions.

This approach allows you to work simultaneously with two types of visitors.

A user who already knows what equipment he needs can quickly go to a specific model or leave a request. At the same time, a customer who is only comparing options receives enough information to make a decision.

07

UX/UI and presentation of technical information

One of the main difficulties of B2B sites with technical equipment is the large number of specifications, models and professional terminology.

Therefore, the information on the pages is presented in blocks that are easy to view even without a deep understanding of technology.

Products use separate cards with name, image, short description and CTA.

Fields of application are placed in independent blocks. This helps the user more quickly match the product to their business — such as construction, manufacturing, logistics, utilities, or public safety.

Visually, the pages continue the corporate style of the main Tridon site while emphasizing Motorola Solutions equipment.

08

Emphasis not only on the product, but also on the service

A special place in the structure is occupied by a block about the advantages of cooperation with Tridon.

It is important to show the user that he is getting more than just hardware.

The company accompanies the client at various stages: from device selection and system planning to configuration, installation, selection of accessories, technical support and subsequent scaling.

This is especially important for enterprise customers who often need an end-to-end solution for a large number of users, multiple sites, or complex operating conditions.

09

Forms for receiving a commercial proposal

A separate form for collecting B2B applications is implemented on each page.

In addition to basic contact information, the user can specify:

  • company;
  • location;
  • field of activity;
  • project type;
  • number of users or devices;
  • desired terms;
  • special requirements.

This allows the Tridon team to get basic information about the request and prepare relevant equipment options before the first contact.

CTA elements are repeated at key points of the pages, so the user does not need to return to the beginning of the landing page to leave the application.

10

FAQ as part of custom script

Blocks with answers to common questions are placed at the bottom of the pages.

For radio stations, this includes, for example, model selection, licensing, installation, and the ability to expand an existing system.

For body-worn devices - camera selection, areas of use, accessories and support.

For WAVE PTX - broadband PTT principle, coverage, device compatibility and usage scenarios.

FAQ helps remove some of the objections even before contacting the manager, and also adds useful thematic content to the pages for search promotion.

11

SEO framework

An important part of the project was the separation of directions by individual URLs.

Instead of trying to promote one page for many different queries, separate landing pages are created for:

  • Motorola Two-Way Radios;
  • Motorola Body-Worn Devices;
  • Motorola WAVE PTX.

This approach allows you to work more precisely with the semantics of each direction, place relevant content and direct users directly to the solution that corresponds to their search query.

Each page has its own header structure, product blocks, commercial CTAs and thematic FAQ.

12

Adaptation for different devices

Landing pages are designed for viewing from desktops, tablets and smartphones.

On mobile devices, large information blocks are reorganized into a vertical structure, equipment cards remain readable, and CTAs are available throughout the user experience.

Particular attention was paid to the forms: even with a large number of fields, they remain clear and convenient for filling from a smartphone.

13

Result

Three specialized landing pages for Motorola Solutions were created within the project, which simultaneously perform information, presentation and commercial functions.

As a result:

  • various technological solutions are divided into separate areas;
  • complex technical information is presented in a format understandable for the B2B client;
  • featured specific Motorola Solutions models;
  • shows scenarios for using equipment in different industries;
  • a clear path from getting to know the product to requesting an offer has been created;
  • added advanced forms for collecting targeted B2B applications;
  • implemented FAQ for each direction;
  • highlights Tridon's expertise not only as a hardware supplier, but as an implementation and support partner;
  • created separate SEO-oriented pages to promote each category of solutions.

The Tridon project shows how a technical B2B product can be presented without overloading with complex characteristics: through real business tasks, application areas, clear navigation and a clear application scenario.

Instead of a typical hardware catalog, landing pages act as full entry points for potential customers looking for a specific Motorola solution for their communications, security or team coordination.
